[Forgive Rory, this is going to be a little bit Blair Witch. The camera's right up to his face for a bit--wow, screen full of nose--and then he fixes it, pulls it a bit away. He's breathing heavily, and trying to keep an eye on the camera and off beside him at the same time, and when he speaks, he's trying to keep his voice low.]

There...iiiis...a minotaur after me, a minotaur and a...thing. A goblin or something.

[The camera shakes a bit as he turns it to try and film along the wall beside him, the wall he's pressed up against, maaaybe to go around the edge, show around the corner...

And then a brief glimpse of the beasts, sniffing about, before they look straight at the camera, and the minotaur bellows.]

Shit!

[The video goes flailing, wild, Rory is off running again.

Sudden glimpses of narrow streets around him

and the goblin-thing, coming up towards him, hands reaching out toward the camera

and then bits of the city

the ground

up at Rory, from under his chin, he's tripped and he's pushing himself up again

sky through the tops of buildings

and then a door, about halfway into frame on an angle, door opens, Rory hustles in and slams it behind him, up some stairs, down a hall, and then he slides down against the wall there, panting, trying to fumble the camera back to face him. He has a bit of trouble framing the words.]

So...what are they? Are they always here? What does this city have against me handing in my CV?! Because it's done this twice, now! I mean, the first time, it was a giant purple dog, and this time it's...those things. I know it's unprofessional, but is there a hospital email I can send it to? Because this is kind of ridiculous.

[A sound off to the side and Rory looks, and then gapes.]

How'd you--!

[His shoulders fall briefly in defeat, and then he scrambles to his feet and runs off again, ending the video with a thumb as he does so.]

It's a stairwell! [Rory says this a bit frantically and makes shooing motions as he already starts up the stairs, trying to herd the other two up ahead of him. Of course there's not a lock he can use!] Just go!

[Nathan's been clinging to Amy's arm since she grabbed him, so he tugs to make sure she follows as he starts running again.]

[And off they go again, with Amy twisting around to make sure that Rory is keeping up.]

[He is, he is, he's right behind them and the door rattles as the minotaur reaches it. Rory stumbles on a stair and gets himself back up again. They're nearly at ground level. BANG from the door, but it still isn't open. The minotaur has a cow head but he'll work out the handle soon enough.]

[Nathan lets out a frightened sort of wail at the bang, forcing himself to speed up for the last few stairs to ground level. And now they've reached it... well, Rory can think of something. He's the one who got them into this in the first place.]

Which way? [Amy's still turned to look at Rory and if it weren't for Nathan's hold on her, she probably would've stumbled sooner rather than later.]

Out, I think.

[Rory climbs the last few stairs to join them.]

Somewhere better than in here?

[He glances at Nathan and then looks back at Amy, hesitant.] The TARDIS?

[Nathan stops to let Rory catch up, panting. He'd kind of like to stop for good, but that minotaur's still banging. And he'd really rather not be there when he manages to get through.]

Out sounds good. TARDIS?

[Amy thinks about that for a second, but then decides that yes, actually, the TARDIS is probably a good idea. It's safe in there. Minotaur-proof. Probably.]

TARDIS. [And once they get outside the building, she pulls Nathan into the direction of the TARDIS.]

(ooc; provided Jansen is okay with Amy and Rory bringing visitors to the TARDIS? >.>)

[Bound to be minotaur proof. It is everything else proof. Rory hopes that Nathan realises that holding hands/arms/whatever with Amy this long doesn't actually lead to anything because he gets it but then, he's cool like that. Totally cool.

And right, running, out of the building and---was that the sound of the door finally opening behind them? Best not to think about that--running in the direction of the TARDIS. Right.]

[ooc: TRY AND STOP THEM, AMY HAS A KEY.]

[For once, sex is the last thing on Nathan's mind. Any clinging on his part is entirely because it feels safer. For the time being, anyway.

Nathan has no idea where they're going, so he allows himself to be pulled along.]

[And after some more running, they're at the TARDIS and Amy lets go of Nathan to get the key out and into the lock, almost dropping it before she manages to get the door open. Once that is done, she grabs Nathan again and unceremoniously shoves him inside, holding the door open for Rory.]

[Rory glances behind them and...the minotaur is actually still after them. HASN'T IT GOT ANYTHING BETTER TO DO? Whatever, they're at the TARDIS, now, so in he goes, trying to split his attention between making sure Amy gets in and making sure Nathan doesn't...do anything. At all.]

[Nathan had been about to protest when Amy had shoved him inside. Seriously? This it the best hiding place they could think of? Except it's actually a lot different once he's inside and any snarky comments he may have had a moment ago are gone.]

Woah.

[Amy's inside now as well and has locked the door behind them. Minotaur-proof, right? Right.

So while trying to catch her breath, she watches Nathan's reaction.]

[Rory moves along a bit to be at least in Nathan's side vision, and leans against a railing, his arms folded.]

Yeah.

[The other two seem fairly relaxed now they're in here, but Nathan remembers how that door looked from the outside. He's not quite convinced.]

Are we all right here? Not being funny, but I reckon I could break in here if I wanted to. Never mind about him.

[Amy liked the speechless 'whoa' better than this reaction. She shrugs.] You're welcome to go out again and try.

[Well. At least Nathan isn't asking so Rory isn't left being forced to explain.]

You're in a box that's bigger on the inside, mate. You really think it's as simple as it looks on the outside?

No. No, of course not. I'm sure we're completely fine.

[He's... not. But there's not much he can do about it, really. So he drops his pipe, ignoring it as it clatters on the floor, stuffing a handful of sweets from his pockets into his mouth instead. Naturally, his next port of call is the console. Those buttons there are practically begging for him to mess with them.]

Don't touch that. [Glare. You had to ruin a perfectly great moment with self-preservation and doubt, did you, Nathan?]

[This twat? Listen to directions? Hardly. There's the slightly hollow sound of banging as the minotaur finds the TARDIS and tries to get in.]

You touch those, as far as you, and, frankly, I know, one of them flings the door open. I wouldn't.

[Naturally, being told not to touch them just causes Nathan to grin, reaching out to do just that.

His finger's already on one of then by the time Rory speaks. He freezes, arm dropping down again a moment later.]

Oh. Should probably avoid that, then. So, what is this place?

This is the TARDIS. [Like that's obvious.]

[Rory's hesitant, because the Doctor didn't invite Nathan, and he doesn't really want to explain anything to him anyway, really.]

It belongs to a friend of ours. He lets us live here.
